Cape Town South Africa - Home to South African Jazz
Cape Town offers a wide selection of great clubs, bars and restaurants where you can listen to live jazz as well as hosting one of the premier Jazz Festivals in the world, The Cape Town International Jazz Festival. I was fortunate to spend a few weeks in Cape Town and sample some of these great venues listening to a mixed variety of different Jazz genre's from Standard Jazz to Avant-garde and free Jazz. I also had the opportunity to interview some of the local Jazz Musicians and gain a perspective on what makes the Cape Town Jazz scene so unique.
